Who I Am

Welcome! I’m Hannah Elzig (she/her), and I’m the founder and owner of The Dream World Connection, a queer and female-owned business specializing in grant writing services for changemakers. I live, work, and play in Seattle, WA and on Duwamish land. Acknowledging my power and privilege, my intention is to center social justice in my life without centering myself, by being sensitive to my own background and mindful of who I am and what I do in the spaces that I exist in and am welcomed to. Learning and unlearning about power and privilege is a lifelong process, and it is my responsibility to educate myself, accept accountability, and act in solidarity. I’ve volunteered, interned, and worked with community organizations throughout my professional career, and I received a Certification in Grant Writing from Seattle Central Community College and Spark the Fire Grant Writing in March 2023. I started my freelance grant writing business and connected with my first client in January 2024 and since then, I’ve successfully awarded my clients funding to expand their impact in their community. I use my head to live with my heart, and I believe that everyone has a skill to share with movements for social change. My business, The Dream World Connection, is my daydream turned reality; I’d love to make your dreams for the world come true, too. All flourishing is mutual - let’s work together.
